Heya Hoggers! So here we are with our very first Food Blog and I wonder many watering mouths are waiting for something new to hog! This summer, we first present to you the soothing ice creams which are the only escape in this scorching heat, but how long would you be dwelling on the same flavours? I don't think you will anymore 'cause here we have some amazing and sassy picks for you, which of course are easy on the budget too! *_* . Isn't it a Win Win situation my friend, then let's start scooping happiness!

Gupta Kulfi, A/B, Mount Rd, Anjerwadi,Mazgaon, Mumbai.

Bubble Gum (Rs.35)

I am sure very few unique finds would have imagined bubble gum in ice cream but Gupta's bring to you an actually amazingly tasty Bubble Gum flavored ice cream. It tastes like chilled boomer bubble gum with the same poppy pink colour topped with few jelly cubes which are a treat. It is an ice cream which will lighten up a dull day with it's Oh_So_Poppytaste.

Chic-Choc (Rs.70)

It is a treat for all the chocolate-lovers out there. A smooth and creamy chocolate ice ream, filled within the boundaries cast by the chocolate cake, topped with a thick chocolate grid and almonds. It has a tinge of coffee but the Guptas say that it has a pinch of coffee chocolate added to it. It will be soothing for your sweetbuds.

Mud Pie Mojo (Rs.30)

It is delight for Coffee crushers because it has a coffee base with brownie pieces and guess what our very loved Oreo and it seems a perfect combination, I don't think you can get any better in this price it's delicious.

Banana Chco (Rs.25)

Have you ever gone beyond banana flurry from McDonalds? If not, then you should definitely, since here Gupta brings you a neutral and simply delicious blend of Banana and Chocolate. This kulfi slice actually tastes like pure banana and not some added flavour.

The Sassy Spoon, Gate 6, ground floor, Express Towers, Ramnath GoenkaMarg, Nariman Point, Mumbai.

Guava Chilly Shorbet (Rs.140)

Are you of the perception that chillies do not belong to icecreams? Then I must insist you on trying this one to change your perception. This shorbet has a flawless and smooth taste of pure ripe Guava which, slowly and steadily is replaced with a spicy chilly like sensation, staying on your tastebuds and in your throat for quite some time.

Basil Pinewood with Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Rs.140)

We totally agree that some flavours create a sort of illusion, when we first tasted this one we thought it was pistachio with malai, it was later when the manager told us the contents that we realised the reason of fine leaves and chopped pinewood in the shorbet and the smooth refreshing taste of basil.

The Sassy Spoon is kind of a must visit place it has a homely feel and the staff are extremely polite and attentive. The decor, the aura and the vibes that we received added much more to our pleasurable experience.

McDonaldsSo as we were roaming around savouring the tasty icecreams we dropped in McDonalds to hog something solid and then we came across the new addition with a tag of Limited edition on it served in a kunfupanda container, It is a sweet lend of brownie and chocolate icecream with a tuttifrutiy taste popping out sometimes and surprising you, That's a mystery though we didn't see any tuttyfruity in it. But if you are going to McDonalds don't skip this.

McDonalds,Opposite CST station.

Kulfi center, Girgaon Chawpatti.

N.K.C Special Kulfi (Rs. 90)

Green Chilly icecream (Rs. 55)

Might taste like plain malai icecream in the begining but it kicks your tastebuds with the spicy chilly in it. It's a revolt against the sweet image of icecream. This icecream needs a base and so here malai just provides a base similar to guava chilly shorbet from sassy spoon where guava was the base. You can certainly feel the green chilly's taste in it.

Watermelon Icecream (Rs. 50)

It is like watermelon juice with more water and fruit crust. It is quite a pale flavour but can be loved by some as the views of mongers differ on this. It is a flavour which tastes different to each person unlike the watermelon juice.

Blue Passion (Rs. 65)

It is a sweet blend of blueberry and white chocolate. It has a smooth blueberry base with crushed white chocolate and is a sweet tooth's pleasure. It can be declared as a soothing summer flavour.

Bachelorr's Rocher (Rs. 65)

It is a delight. It has a chocolate base with crushed ferrerorocher, hazelnut and chocolate chunks. The first taste to touch your tastebuds is of hazelnut then the ferrorr rocher takes over and the last to land are the chocolate chunks. It is a must try flavour for a chocoholic.

Chocolate Room, Rmall, Mulund (W).

Ecstasy Chocolate (Rs. 179)

It is just amazing. It is absolutely heaven! It consists of a molten brownie which is smooth and soft and melts in your mouth with chocolate icecream. The hot brownie with cool icecream is just amazing.
